I’ve been a StarCitizen backer since 2014, although I knew about it and followed it from the start. It has been an absolute joy to follow the project, warts and all.
I’ve had more hours of fun, camaraderie, and enjoyment testing my way through this delightfully buggy alpha than all of the other games I’ve played combined by far, but more than that, seeing an idea grow from a tiny start to become one of the worlds largest indie studios with more than 1.200 employees, and having a window into the process of making the game(s) is both highly educational (even for my job role as a project manager) and humbling.
