This is my take on the traditional Hobo Reel, but with some added features you normally don’t find with them.
What’s a ‘Hobo reel’ you ask?
Hobo reels (also known as Hand reels) are simple but very compact alternatives to normal fishing rods. You won’t be able to cast as far or feel/snag the fish as easily as with a normal rod, but they are lightweight, take very little space in your backpack, and sometimes come with compartments inside to store lures and floats.
